Meet Beatrice
I'm Beatrice, and I'm a mother, clinical mental health therapist, artist, and the owner and lead photographer of Gold Coast Boudoir. I have had many different jobs, but this one has become the perfect one for me, allowing me to use my skills as a therapist and artist to help women have positive healing experiences in their bodies.
It's crazy how a boudoir session can totally transform how you feel about yourself. I began photographing boudoir because of my own body issues, insecurities, and trauma. I found that helping women have healing experiences in front of the lens helped me heal on my side as well.
I love creating beautiful pieces of art that get to live on in my clients' lives and homes forever, reminding them of how incredibly brave and strong they are. This job I've created has been such a gift to my family, and I am honored to get to do it with you. Thank you for trusting me and my team with your boudoir experience.

What your session looks like

Phone consultation
Every session begins with a private call with Beatrice. You'll talk through what draws you here, what you might wear, and anything you're unsure about.

Preparation
Professional makeup and styling guidance, then time with our wardrobe closet of dresses, silks and robes. You're welcome to bring your own lingerie or swimwear too.

The water
A private heated pool, with Beatrice beside you the entire time. She walks you through posing and makes sure you're safe and comfortable with the plan at all times.

The reveal
You'll see your portraits for the first time at your ordering session, and choose the ones that become yours. Every photo collection includes albums, along with matching digital images and optional art.
Before you ask
Questions
No. You only need to be comfortable putting your face underwater. Beatrice stays beside you, and you rest between every frame.
This is not the same experience as you getting caught in the rain or after a shower. Your hair won't look wet and your makeup won't be running. You're not going to look like you just got out of the water. You'll be under water and you'll look like an ethereal, weightless goddess. You won't have to try to make your hair perfect, it just will and I'll show you how.
Only a few seconds at a time. You take a breath, go under, and surface. Beatrice walks you through it before you ever get in the water.
Your own lingerie or swimwear, or pieces from our wardrobe closet of silks and robes. You'll plan it together with Beatrice on your call.
It's something of its own. UNDERCURRENT is created by Gold Coast Boudoir, and your portraits can be as sensual or as covered as you want. You decide.
Most women haven't. You don't need modeling experience or to know how to pose. Underwater, the less you try, the better the images tend to be.
At a private pool in the Asheville area. The exact location is shared once your session is booked.

Your session fee includes your consultation, professional makeup optional, access to our wardrobe, and your time in the water with Beatrice.
Your portraits are chosen afterward, at your ordering session, as fine-art prints, albums, and digital collections. Collections begin at $2,499. Payment plans available.
